Xbox Game Pass has become the best value in gaming, and now fans expect to see almost every major release on the service. Microsoft has been releasing its first-party titles on Game Pass Day One such as Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, South of Midnight, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and many others.
Upcoming releases from major publishers like Ubisoft include Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game is expected to be released on March 20, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Can I Play Assassin’s Creed Shadows On Xbox Game Pass?
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will not be released on Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass when it launches in March. Fans will have to pay full price to enjoy the newest Assassin’s Creed entry.
In late February, some areas around the world started selling early physical copies of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ubisoft put out a statement warning about spoilers and that what videos are being posted is not the final product. If any bugs are noticed now, there will be an update for on day one.
It was reported that Shadows is said to face record heights in pre-orders despite Ubisoft’s revenue dipping more than 30%. With the game not being made available on Game Pass this might be a big positive for the publisher to get more sales.
