Electronic Arts is going to release arguably its biggest game of the year on October 10 with Battlefield 6. The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with no plan to launch on Switch 2 or previous generation consoles.
Will Battlefield 6 come to Xbox Game Pass?
At launch, it’s highly unlikely that Battlefield 6 will come to Xbox Game Pass on day one. EA most likely wants to capitalize on launch sales for the $70 game. However, Electronic Arts has its own service, EA Play, that is included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. What we’ve seen in the past is that Game Pass Ultimate members could get a 10-hour trial of the game.
Could Battlefield 6 ever come to Game Pass?
While at launch Battlefield 6 is not coming to Xbox Game Pass, there’s a chance EA will bring it to the service as the game gets older and possibly towards when it’s out for a year. It’s hard to predict what EA will do with Battlefield in terms of putting it on Game Pass.
We wouldn’t count out the newest Battlefield coming to the best service in gaming, but if you are desperate to play it, you’ll have to pay the full price of $70.
