Meltan Evolution Teased In New Trailer

A while back users on Pokemon Go has discovered an unknown Pokémon that was being found throughout the world. The Hex Nut Pokémon Meltan was revealed to be a new Pokémon that players will be able to obtain in the game. Along with being announced for the upcoming Let’s Go titles coming in November.

A live action trailer was uploaded to the Pokémon YouTube channel giving another look at the liquid metal-bodied Pokémon. In the video it was shown how Meltan reacts and teases a possible evolution of the new Pokémon. “Meltan still holds a greater secret to be uncovered”.

A second video followed the trailer introducing the Mystery Box; which will be essential on how to catch a Meltan as it still has not been mentioned how to obtain it. Players will be able to get the box by transferring Pokémon from Go to Let’s Go. When you choose to open the box, Meltan will start to appear, giving you the opportunity to catch them. Which can later be transferred to Let’s Go after being caught in Pokémon Go.

Meaning the possibility of an evolution or form leaves the implication that we could see a entirely new Pokémon species with similar characteristics. As the game continues approaching to its launch, more information on Meltan could be revealed before then.

Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will be available on November 16, 2018 for Nintendo Switch.
