Minecraft on Switch getting Xbox Achievements

In what is likely one of the most bizarre things to happen this week, Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition will be getting Xbox Achievements. Yes you read that correctly. An achievement list for the title popped up over on TrueAchievements, and features the same 79 achievements and 1750 Gamerscore available on every other version excluding the Playstation 4 edition. We have known that the Switch version of Minecraft will require you to sign in with a Microsoft account to enable crossplay features in the Better Together update, but most did not expect it to have Xbox achievements seeing as it is on a separate gaming console. It is still unknown when the Better Together version will drop on the Switch, but with this achievement list now available, it should be quite soon.
