Modern Warfare 4 on Switch 2 supports Joy-Con Mouse Controls

Activision and Infinity Ward revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will release on Switch 2 alongside Xbox, PC, and PS5 on October 23, 2026. It has also been confirmed that the game will take advantage of the Joy-Con Mouse Controls.

Alongside the Switch 2 Mouse Control feature, Modern Warfare 4 will also support Cross-Play and Cross-Progression on the console. Everything will be in line for the Switch 2 when the game releases and will be on par with the other platforms.

Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will go live on the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, along with more information. It’s available to pre-order on Xbox, PS5, and PC today, and the pre-order benefits have been revealed.

This will be the first time that Call of Duty is coming to the Nintendo platform since 2013, when Call of Duty: Ghosts released on the Wii U. A couple of years ago, Microsoft made an agreement with Nintendo to bring the franchise to the platform for at least 10 years.
