mortal kombat 1 dlc

It was reported a couple of months ago that Mortal Kombat 1 would no longer be receiving anymore DLC characters or other new content. Today, NetherRealm confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 will not be getting any additional DLC characters or story chapters from now on.

NetherRealm Studios confirmed they will continue to support Mortal Kombat 1 through balance adjustments and fixes. So there will be some support there. The studio also shared its team is already shifting its focus to the next project.

This month, NetherRealm Studios released the Mortal Kombat 1 Definitive Edition for all platforms. It includes all DLC Characters, Story Expansion, Skins, and a lot more.

It’s unsure yet what the Chicago-based studio is working on. It could be another Mortal Kombat title; however, could we finally see a return of Injustice? Time will only tell for that.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
