It’s more than a month since NetherRealm dropped Mortal Kombat 11 into the open and fans got a good amount of time with the latest installment of the three decade growing fighter. Now the first trailer showing off Shang Tsung, one of the first DLC characters as part of the game’s Kombat Pass, has dropped and revealed more than expected.

For the majority of the trailer, it showcases the fighter who holds the likeness Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa from the titular 1995 film, Mortal Kombat. Presenting his different combos and even some finishers throughout the course of the trailer. But the meat that makes up the video is following with the final segment that details some, but not all, of the coming fighters for the game.

Here are all characters confirmed from the recent trailer:

  1. Shang Tsung
  2. Nightwolf
  3. Sindel
  4. Spawn

For those more invested in the franchise and throughout the community, it’s no shocker that Spawn will be coming to the roster as creator Todd McFarlane detailed back in December that his character will be debuting in the then-coming NetherRealm title. This will mark the hero’s second entry into a fighting title, first being Soulcalibur II.

The trailer also shares that there still are two characters who have yet to be revealed: ending the trailer with the noise of a chainsaw running in the background. Leaving the implication to jump on the idea of possibly Evil Dead’s Ash which was previously dug up from a datamine of the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
