New Nintendo 3DS to launch Feb 13th in the US

Nintendo have finally announced that the New Nintendo 3DS will be making its debut in North America on Feb 13th. The new handheld will still play all of your favorite 3DS games, while displaying them at a higher fidelity and adding extra immersion with the new 3D head tracking feature. The console can now be viewed at any angle and the 3D effect will still work thanks to the head tracking. Faster processing will allow games to be loaded much quicker, and the battery life is also slightly increased compared to its previous counterparts. The console also features a ‘c-stick’ for added precision in games. It also features a display that can adjust brightness based on its surroundings. Lastly, amiibo figures will now work with the console thanks to the built in NFC support. Smash Bros for 3DS will be the first to use this feature, along with other games including Codename S.T.E.A.M. An exclusive Monster Hunter 4 and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask “New” Nintendo 3DS will launch along with their respective games on Feb 13th as well. The console will debut at $199 and will not include an ac adapter, but you’ll still be able to use old ones all the way back to the DSi family.
