Nintendo says that the Nintendo Switch will get VR

A while ago a couple patents were released for the Nintendo Switch and one of them were for Virtual Reality. Now, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima has confirmed to Nikkei (via Japanese analyst Serkan Toto) that Nintendo is exploring bringing VR to the Switch.
Kimishima has confirmed that the company is studying VR and will bring VR to the system once it has resolved the problem of users being able to play VR games for extended periods of time. It remains to be seen how the Switch can power Virtual Reality, there could possibly be a higher spec Switch in the works that will support it.
