In the world of PlayStation, new things are coming to its platform. According to one report, a revision to the PlayStation 5 – ‘PS5 Slim Digital Chassis E’ – is to enter circulation which offers a reduced storage size of 625 GB. Additionally, the DualSense is quietly being altered as well. It was disclosed a new ‘DualSense V3’ is in the pipeline to release which features the option to remove its internal battery.

Elsewhere, new Pulse accessories are on the way. For either console or PC – users can upgrade their audible experience with the Pulse Elevate desktop speakers next year in 2026. As for the time being, players can enjoy the ongoing ‘PlayStation: The Concert’ experience that has been trotting the globe since kicking off earlier in the year.

Or at least, it was until recently. It was revealed that the remaining shows that were planned to be held in North America are no longer scheduled. Through the 25 remaining shows, only two are to still take place: Red Bank, New Jersey on November 11th and Detroit, Michigan on November 7th. Other shows in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, Boston, and Chicago have all been cancelled.

“It is with great regret that we have cancelled the PlayStation The Concert 2025 tour dates in North America,” Organizer GEA told in a statement to Video Game Chronicle. “Our team has spent a considerable amount of time developing this project, and we share in the disappointment of fans who will no longer be able to attend. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the show and appreciate your understanding in making this difficult decision.”

Similarly, shows in Europe have hit some bumps in the road as well with regions like Poland, Sweden, Norway, Italy being postponed until summer 2026. Another show that is to take place is in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Brazil Game Show this weekend. Cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles as well as  Toronto, Canada are still scheduled for 2026.
