To begin August Rare has begun celebrating its 40th anniversary and revealed a Rare 40th Anniversary Vinyl set in partnership with iam8bit. In the last forty years, Rare has become an iconic name in the video game world, offering iconic music from its games such as Banjo Kazooie, Battletoads, Sea of Thieves, and a lot more.
The Rare 40th Anniversary Vinyl Box Set is now available to pre-order on iam8bit and the Materia Store. The limited edition vinyl costs $100 USD.
Aside from the vinyl, a Rare 40th Anniversary Xbox Controller was also released by 8BitDo.
