Reported just moments before, VentureBeat writer Jeffrey Grubb shared explicit teases which implied that Sony will be hosting its first PlayStation 5 showcase on June 3rd next month. Grubb did so by updating a “PlayStation event” scheduled on his upcoming event list and even conveyed that the event will be “after June 2” when asked if it will be prior to June 4.
Now in a separate report made by Bloomberg, Jason Schreier told that the coming event is plausible to be taking place on the suggested June 3 date, but there is the possibility that the event could be shifted wither by internal affairs or simply by the fact about the recent events projecting the unannounced show for early next month. But he goes on to add more context to the matter regardless of when the showcase actually arrives.
Adding on to the subject, Schreier said that there are expected events to take place follow suit the currently unannounced, slated scheduled for June 3.
Other PlayStation 5 events may follow in the coming weeks and months, and Sony is not expected to reveal every essential detail on the console during its first presentation.
As noted from previous statements, Schreier has acted in the suspicions of a June event in recent weeks, He told following the announcement of this month’s Inside Xbox 20/20 that Sony is still a “few weeks away” from hosting its own PlayStation 5 showcase. He later on disclosed that the show could be held in early June, but he clarified that you shouldn’t hold your breath as there is the possibility for the presentation to be shifted to the latter of that month also.
To add more context to a new reveal on the horizon, Bloomberg reported elsewhere that unique titles for the coming PlayStation 5 console is on the way. Speaking with Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida, he told the outlet that “we will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games.” You can read the full report by heading here.
