resident evil survival unit

The popular Resident Evil series from Capcom is getting a new spin-off titled Resident Evil Survival Unit from Aniplex and JOYCITY. The game is co-developed by both companies based in South Korea.

Resident Evil Survival Unit is a new strategy co-op game, and it’s also being developed in close collaboration with Capcom to ensure its quality.

The game offers a fresh take on the beloved franchise, reimagining the survival horror universe as a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile platforms, specifically iOS and Android.

Resident Evil Survival Unit is designed to appeal to newcomers and longtime fans of Resident Evil. The plan is for the game to be released in Japan, South Korea, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Capcom did announce that there will be an Online Showcase Event for Survival Unit. The event will take place on Thursday, July 10, at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT. It can be watched on the game’s official website.

Fans of the horror series are being treated well as of late. Resident Evil Requiem was announced at Summer Game Fest last month, and it will be releasing in early 2026.
