Aniplex announced that pre-registrations for its upcoming mobile strategy game, Resident Evil Survival Unit, have reached over 1 million users. This includes users across North America, Japan, Europe, Korea, and other regions in Asia.
The 1 million pre-registrations are counted across the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store in those regions.
The new mobile game is inspired by Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil series. This game provides a fresh strategic experience specifically designed for mobile devices. It combines the accessibility of mobile gaming with the complexity of real-time strategy, enabling players from around the world to connect and compete in a new survival-themed adventure set within the Resident Evil universe.
Resident Evil Survival Unit is planned to release worldwide in 2025, but a specific release date has not been announced yet.
