Right at the turn for the fall equinox, reports came out of a potential succeeding product to take the place of the Wii Fit on the Nintendo Switch. It wasn’t until the following week that we learned it was the exercise ring that would ship with Ring Fit Adventure. The device pushes the level of interactivity to another level with more than two dozen different workouts that players can perform while playing the new experience.
And while the game shipped back in October, it has been a little bit since we heard about the game. This morning, Nintendo dropped an abrupt Nintendo Direct Mini announcing that ring Fit Adventure will be receiving a handful of new features to the game.
You can watch the portion of the Nintendo Direct Mini in the video below:
In the presentation, Nintendo reveals that Ring Fit Adventure will be inheriting a Rhythm Mode, similar to how Beat Saber is using your body to hit certain notes. Utilizing the ring controller, you must time certain exercises at specific positions alongside the addition of squatting if the game instructs for the respected note. This new mode will also feature up to 17 music tracks from the Nintendo line of IPs.
Smaller niché add-ons that will also ship with today’s update for Ring Fit Adventure is the option to use a female voice for your Ring Companion. This feature will also implement the ability to change between a list of different localizing languages also depending on what region you are from. Players can also enjoy the Jogging option to “simple run through a variety of fields.”
Do you own ring Fit Adventure and plan on trying out these new modes?
