ROG Xbox Ally Pricing Confirmed In Recent Retail Leaks

One of the most bespoke aspects of Xbox is its close relationship with AMD. Alongside its commitment to delivering unique silicone for its systems, unique hardware is also being made as well partnered with ROG. Earlier this summer, we saw this with the reveal of the ROG Xbox Ally. The new PC gaming peripheral would come with the regular Ally features along with native Xbox Store support as well.

This comes after Microsoft enables aggregated PC libraries for your Microsoft account – linking multiple storefronts to one profile. Other AMD arrangements also includes its “strategic multi-year partnership” with Xbox as well as promising to deliver backwards compatibility throughout the entire ecosystem.

Last month, Microsoft confirmed that the ROG Xbox Ally would release on October 16th. However, one thing that has not been disclosed is the price point the device will find on retail shelves then. But, Destin Legarie on YouTube has confirmation with sources within the retail space at Best Buy that prices for the ROG Xbox Ally is $549.99 & ROG Xbox Ally X is $899.99.

Legarie was sent images of price tags for both the ROG Xbox Ally & ROG Xbox Ally X at a Best Buy location in proximity to Nashville, Tennessee. After receiving the tip, Legarie also contacted a Best Buy within his area in which the retailer corroborated the pricing that was sent to him by the anonymous user. Select locations will feature ROG Xbox Ally station to demo the handheld.

Previously, Dealabs have reported the pricing for both version of the ROG Xbox Ally. In its report, the $550 & $900 do align with what Legarie was sent on Friday.
