It has been the “Summer of Deadpool” as Marvel released its latest film featuring the character alongside Wolverine. Microsoft also jumped into the marketing action for Deadpool & Wolverine by doing a giveaway for one-of-a-kind controllers. With the movie being the talk of this Summer, at some point, you know fans will question the possibility of more games featuring the iconic character.
According to Shpeshal Nick from the Xbox Era Podcast, Microsoft is working with Marvel to re-license the Xbox One port for the Deadpool & Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles. Thanks to HazzadorGamin on X (Twitter) for sharing the clip from the podcast:
Rumour: As per Shpeshal Nick from Xbox Era, Microsoft is working with Marvel to re-license the XB1 port for Deadpool & Marvel Ultimate Alliance titleshttps://t.co/AcF3xyK9eF pic.twitter.com/crtLz1Kndv

There are a few Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles and it’s unclear if Microsoft would try to re-license all of them as there are three games in the series. As for the Deadpool title, there was a remaster released for Xbox One and PS4 almost 10 years ago and it would be great to see the game being sold again on the Microsoft Store.
As always, we must take these rumors with a grain of salt.
