Rumor: New Battletoads Game Possibly Leaked From Game's Composer

According to Battletoad’s composer David Wise, his web site has a new list named Battletoads 20/20.
Since then the website has been edited changing the name to David Wise: 20/20. And being labeled as “a new project”, with no details on what it can be.
As this might get fans hopes up for another title, this isn’t solid enough to confirm if the game is in development or not. This could possibly have been a reference to his older work as mentioned in the project. Wise has worked on other games like Donkey Kong Country and Snake Pass.

The possibility of seeing Rash, Zitz and Pimple returning might not be as far as you’d think actually. With the release of Rare Replay back in 2015 reintroduced the trio to the next generation with Battletoads along with a whole roster of classic Rare titles bundled into one game. Along with being featured as bosses in Yacht Clubs Games’ Shovel Knight. And the most recent making a cameo in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.
If we were to see a new game, it might be as early as this year’s E3 at the Xbox Conference.
