Rumored Prince Of Persia Remake Said To Be Unveiled During Next Week’s Ubisoft Forward, Insider Shares

The hushed Prince of Persia series could possibly be making some noise in less than a week. Despite Ubisoft’s attempt to bring some focus to the franchise with a For Honor event back in March alongside the VR Escape Room – Dagger of Time, the brand has yet to truly reobtain its following from roughly a decade prior.

Howbeit, continued whispers throughout the industry has began to spin discussions of a potential enlightening for Prince of Persia. Last month, it was discovered from a retailer in Guatemala that a remake of the series is underway. Where Bloomberg Tech’s Jason Schreier disclosed the premature discovery of the project to be legitimate.

Now again from Schreier, this time during the Triple Click Podcast, he tells that the coming Ubisoft Forward slated for this coming Thursday will officially showcase the new Prince of Persia entry.

They had been planning a new Ubisoft Forward, like a stream where they were gonna announce a bunch of games like the Prince of Persia remake that was leaked a couple weeks ago.

The same day of the airing for the latest podcast episode, Ubisoft disclosed that the firm would be holding its second Ubisoft Forward showcase. The virtual presentation was teased to offer coming projects such as Gods & Monsters where the firm confirmed the new titling to be Immortals Fenyx Rising. In addition, the publisher also spared that other billboard titles such as Hyper Scape, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Rainbow Six Siege will be present during the show.

With the chances being likely for Prince of Persia to take the spotlight during next week’s online event, hopefully the same likeliness can also be applied to other entities as well. Such as Rainbow Six: Quarantine and Roller Champions. Both already in public sight, the firm has not addressed any new details on the two for over a handful of months.

Elsewhere today, it was also uncovered that Immortals Fenyx Rising could be shipping later this year. Uncovered from the Microsoft Store, it was revealed that the upcoming project could be shipping by early December. You can read the full report by heading here.
