Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to release on October 20, 2023 exclusively for PlayStation 5. Since the games initial announcement, Sony has come out with a variety of limited editions for fans to choose from. We are less than 3 months away from the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation. Let’s take a look at all of the options fans have to spend on their favorite Marvel franchise.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Launch Edition – $69.99 USD
If you pre-order the Spider-Man 2 Launch Edition you’ll receive in-game bonuses which includes 2 Early Unlock Suits, A Web Grabber Gadget, +3 Skill Points and you’ll get 3 color variants for Peter and Miles’ suits.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition – $79.99 USD
The Digital Deluxe Edition contains everything included with the Launch Edition and some more. You will receive Additional Photo Mode Items and +2 Skill Points. The eye catcher here is the Ten Unique Suits for Peter and Miles (5 for each). These suits are exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition and you can’t unlock these through game progression.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition – $229.99 USD
The Collector’s Edition for Spider-Man 2 comes with everything included in both the Launch Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. What makes the Collector’s Edition worth the price is the 19-inch Collector’s Edition Statue and the Steelbook Display Case.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Console – $499.99 USD
We are assuming the Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Limited Edition Bundle will be $500.00 when pre-orders go live on July 28. The Spider-Man 2 PS5 reflects the intensity of the symbiote and its capacity for transformation and power. The bundle also comes with a DualSense controller that matches the console.
Official release for the Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Console will be on September 1, 2023. Pre-orders will be available on PlayStation Direct. The good news about this console is that it comes with a digital copy of the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DualSense Controller – Price Unknown
The Spider-Man 2 DualSense Controller will be available separately to purchase. The price hasn’t been said by Sony, but we assume it’ll be $74.99 USD just like the God of War Ragnarok DualSense Controller. It doesn’t look like the controller comes with any in-game content for Spider-Man 2. There’s no doubt this Limited Edition controller is a must get.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PlayStation 5 Console Cover – Price Unknown
Lastly, Sony is coming out with a Spider-Man 2 Console Cover and it’s the first Limited Edition Cover we’ve seen from them. This is the perfect option for those who aren’t able to acquire a brand new Spider-Man 2 console. The price for regular PS5 Console Cover’s are $54.99, but we are assuming it could be like the controllers where there’s a slight increase being its Limited Edition.
The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Console Cover pre-orders will go live on PlayStation Direct on July 28. It’ll see a release on September 1st.
