Jagex officially announced during the June State of Play presentation that RuneScape Dragonwilds will be coming to PlayStation 5. This marks the first time that a RuneScape game will be coming to consoles. It will be coming to PS5 later this year, the company announced.
Will RuneScape Dragonwilds Come To Xbox or Switch 2?
While it’s exciting to know RuneScape Dragonwilds is coming to PlayStation 5, oddly enough, Jagex has not spoken about potential Xbox or Switch 2 versions of the game yet. For now, it looks like the game will be a PS5 console exclusive until further notice.
Rectify Gaming has reached out for comment on this to get more details.
RuneScape Dragonwilds would make perfect sense for Nintendo Switch 2 because of its Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. It would almost be a match made in heaven for the game and the console. We’ll have to wait and see what Jagex has planned for the future of RuneScape on consoles.
