Sony releases standalone PlayStation message app for Android and IOS

Sony has just released a standalone PlayStation message app for Android and IOS, the app lets you check your friends list to see who is online, you will be able to send text messages or voice messages to individual friends or to groups, and also upload your photos and stickers.

All of this used to be in the main PlayStation app, but now that app will be used for managing game downloads, controlling your PlayStation 4 remotely and as a second screen.

Sony has said both apps will be updated around the same time.
