Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and developer Arvore announced The Boys: Trigger Warning is releasing in 2026 for Meta Quest 3 and PS VR2. Pre-orders for the game are available now on the Meta Quest Store and the PlayStation Store.
The Boys: Trigger Warning introduces an original character who accidentally uncovers a grotesque Vought secret that turns a family outing into carnage. Forced to become a Supe, the player joins The Boys to infiltrate Vought and take revenge in the most chaotic way possible. Blending stealth and combat with the franchise’s signature dark humor, the VR title delivers a new story rooted in the world fans love.
The game features cast members from the series: Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke).
“From day one, we wanted to build an adaptation hand-in-hand with the people who defined this universe,” said Ricardo Justus, Founder and Head of Studio at ARVORE. “Working with the show’s writers and cast allowed us to bring the edge, humor, and brutality that made the series iconic, delivered with the spark of magic only ARVORE can create.”
Here is an overview of The Boys: Trigger Warning via its store listing:
Lucas Costa’s life detonates when the Armstrongs—a washed-up but still lethal family of Vought Superheroes—turn a family outing into carnage. The Boys drag Lucas back from the brink, juice him with powers, and throw him headfirst into their filthy underground war against Vought and its Supes. With Butcher and Mother’s Milk guiding from the shadows, Lucas sets off on a no-mercy hunt to put the Armstrongs in the ground.
