The Outer Worlds 2 stole the show at Xbox Games Showcase, along with a Direct right after. The title from Obsidian Entertainment has a release date for October 29, and it’ll release on Xbox Series, Xbox PC, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
It was revealed after the showcase that The Outer Worlds 2 will cost $80. This is the first time since Microsoft announced prices will go up later this Holiday we’ve seen a game officially priced at this much.
Here are some Key Features via Xbox Wire of The Outer Worlds 2:
- Encounter three clashing factions: Militarized utopians, corporate cultists, and prophetic scientists – each pushing their own twisted vision of humanity’s future.
- Build your commander your way: Expanded RPG systems, new flaws, science weapons, and even science armor like the new improved Shrink Ray.
- Worlds that react to you: Companions, factions, and even radio stations will react to the moves and decisions you make.
The Outer Worlds 2 pulls you into Arcadia – a colony isolated from the rest of the system, fought over by power-hungry factions, and on the brink of near to mid-term collapse by rifts forming in the space around it. With the future up for grabs, survival might depend on your choices, your alliances… and maybe a few well-placed deals along the way.
