During Nintendo’s latest Direct, the only Microsoft-owned game that made an appearance was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 from Iron Galaxy and Activision. It was previously revealed in March that the newest Tony Hawk remaster would be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on July 11, 2025.
At the time, it was unknown if the game would make its way to Nintendo’s platform. It turns out that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will be releasing for Nintendo Switch 2 this Summer.
In the Direct, they revealed that Nora Vasconcellos would be joining the game. She is one of the most influential skateboarders of her generation and will join the legendary roster in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.
SpongeBob is coming to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4

The trailer for Tony Hawk on Switch 2 concluded with a teaser of a SpongeBob SquarePants collaboration. It looks like players will be able to skate around SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick Star’s house. The video only showed us ramps leading up to the iconic neighborhood.
Activision and Iron Galaxy didn’t share any details regarding the collaboration and if it’ll be available right at launch.
It has been reported that Bam Margera will be making an appearance in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 after concern that he was not listed in the reveal last month. The game will also have cross-platform multiplayer support with up to 8 skaters at one time, meaning you’ll have plenty of competition.
Nintendo Switch 2 will release on June 5, 2025, which will be a month before Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 officially releases on all consoles. The new console will cost $449.99, and pre-orders were recently delayed due to the rising tariff situation in the United States.
