Turnout For Black Ops 6 Beta Shatters Records Of Prior Playtests

As like every year, Activision is preparing to roll out the next Call of Duty later this fall. This time, the series lands back in Treyarch’s possession with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coming this October. With the return of the believed sub-franchise, players are interested what the developer is to do different since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. For one, its the glaring new Omni-movement coming to the first-person shooter.

Similar to Max Payne, the war shooter is offering a new movement system to enable more traversal options to simulate in-game. Additionally, Black Ops 6 is to also feature beloved aspects of prior games. In that, it was confirmed classic round-based Zombies is to make an appearance alongside the original Prestige system too. With the beta that took place this weekend, players can dip their toes in the approaching release.

As a result of all the chatter of things that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is to offer, it was one of the most active public tests for the entire Call of Duty IP. Treyarch reveals engagement among players was the highest for any beta held for the series.

Combining both the Early Access & Open Beta that were held in respective timeframes, player turnout was very high for Black Ops 6. Across the board, total player count; total hours played; total playtime per player; total matches player – all were record-breaking numbers. Although the exact number were not provided, it is touted to be the most engagement ever witnessed.

One other exciting thing for players looking at picking up Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at release, there is no forced Warzone this time around.
