WayForward Delays Shantae And The Seven Sirens To Spring 2020

Developer WayForward previously have presented the fifth installment for their genie half-hero platformer, Shantae and the Seven Sirens. Excitedly disclosing the name of the project along with some in-game images of the upcoming title, the team, however, did not disclose when exactly the game will be arriving as for its retail release.

Although sharing the platforms that will be receiving the forthcoming title, a specific date has yet to be announced. But according to a recent announcement from the studio themselves, that timeframe might have been closer than we might have expected. In a tweet earlier this month, the California-based developer announced that the game will be releasing later on in spring next year.

Telling from the latest fragment of news from the development team, it implies that the game would have arrived earlier on sometime next year in the debuting months of the new decade. Regardless, it is understandable that the team will require more time to perfect this new installment to meet the standards their player base expects from the series. Despite what the fans might think, many have shown their love to the studio and support the necessary development time to better this coming release.

Such as a new trailer which is planned to release at a later time, WayForward answered to one fan. Another being the physical release for the game: telling one questioning fan that “we don’t have anything to announce yet, but we expect there to be one.”
