Microsoft’s plan over the last few years has been to bring their games to everyone, wherever possible. This year, we have seen Forza Horizon 5 release on PS5, which has become PlayStation’s best-performing game, and we’ve seen Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, and others come to PlayStation and have success.
What we haven’t heard much of yet is Xbox’s plans to bring games to the Nintendo Switch 2, which is more than capable of. Rumors this year have indicated we should see Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, among others, coming to the Switch 2.
According to The Game Business, Microsoft is preparing to announce more games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. They specify it will happen “in the coming weeks.”
“Xbox is expected to announce more game ports to other platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5, in the coming weeks.”
There is a lot happening in the next few weeks, such as a rumored Nintendo Direct that is expected to still happen this month. Also, there is Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19 that will have the worldwide reveal of Black Ops 7.
