
As you might expect, May is near its closing. And with that month nearly behind us, that means there is more to come in terms of PlayStation Plus’ free games. For this month already, Sony Interactive Entertainment offered Battlefield V, Stranded Deep, and Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last. to PlayStation Plus subscribers. But, there are more to come, of course.
In a new announcement on Wednesday, there is a new trio of titles that will be welcomed to PlayStation Plus members starting on June 1. Those titles being Operation: Tango, Star Wars Squadrons, And Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. The three are told to be available until Monday July 5th the following month.
Most unique about June 2021’s roster of free PlayStation Plus titles is the addition of Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. For those that are unfamiliar, the game received its official announcement on Wednesday and simultaneously got booked to be a free PlayStation Plus title for next month as well.
In regards to other free programs over on PlayStation, Sony Interactive Entertainment recently extended its Play at Home initiative to downloadable content as well. In that, it welcomes free helpings of add-on and in-game currency for titles like Call of Duty: Warzone, Rocket League, Brawlhalla, NBA 2K21, Rogue Company, and MLB The Show 21.
