In regards to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy IP, the series continues to grow and branch in new directions for the future of the brand. However, some projects happen to fall through even years following its announcement. For one, the initially promised Final Fantasy XI Reboot was just recently confirmed to be shelved indefinitely nearly half a decade since being announced.

However, the series is also taking new routes for its upcoming releases as well. While the current Final Fantasy VII Remake continues to shape the vision of the series over on PlayStation, the series is now expected to hit PC fairly soon. Although the game was framed to be unique to PlayStation 4 for the first year, new fragments of a PC version emerge. Most recently, a data entry on Epic Games Store reveals fragments of Final Fantasy VII Remake in that.

But, the most unique announcement as of late appears to be the upcoming children’s television show for Final Fantasy IX. In a new agreement between Cyber Group Studios & Square Enix, a new series is to be entering production.

The games have a strong co-viewing potential. For those who do know Final Fantasy IX , this will be an [introduction]. And for the many who don’t, this will immerse them in a universe they’ll love.

That does not happen to be the only crack of sunshine for the classic Final Fantasy releases. In that, Square Enix pressed a ‘Pixel Remaster for games I – VI will be on the way for PC and mobile devices in the approaching months.

Additionally, there is other reported shows in the works under Square Enix. In that, there are supposed details regarding a Kingdom Hearts show that continue to linger.
