While Zombie Army 4: Dead War dropped back in February 2020, much of the game continued onward as developer Rebellion supplied the game with a fruitful amount of post-launch DLC leading forward. Of course, the most exciting came to be next-generation upgrade for the game which arrived later on for Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5.

As for our reception for the game, Rectify Gaming’s David Rodriguez told, “I have really enjoyed my time with Zombie Army 4: Dead War.” Adding, “ The Sniper Elite series is one of my personal favorites, and it’s nice seeing them take what was a spin-off series and elevate it much more ambitious heights.”

Now, Rebellion is back with more content for Zombie Army 4: Dead War owners as the developer adds a new story expansion alongside a free crossover Left 4 Dead add-on as well. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“It’s time to finish this! Learn the sinister secrets that set the Zombie apocalypse in motion and venture deep into Hell itself as you sprint to rescue a fallen ally from a fate worse than death – a space known only as the Void,” the description for ‘Return to Hell’ reads with the video. “Will the forces of the occult have their final victory, or will the bell toll for them?”

As for the collaborative add-on with Valve, the free update includes four new playable characters: Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle. Of course, this is not the first partnership Valve orchestrated as it also previously teamed up with Techland for a Dying Light DLC as well previously.

Recently, Rebellion shipped a new update for 2016’s Sniper Elite 4. In that, the game has been reworked for feature enhancements for the Xbox Series consoles alongside PlayStation 5 as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
