The release itinerary from Konami this year shows to be a massive lineup. Earlier on in 2026, the Japanese publisher shared a slew of new releases coming this year and into 2027. In April, The Darwin Paradox shipped that offered a zany octopus adventure and even featured a Metal Gear-inspired stage as well. Speaking on the Konami IP, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is also releasing this year and features the PlayStation 3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4.
Looking ahead, there is also the new installment for Castlevania with ‘Belmont’s Curse’. The game this time explores the setting of Paris 1499 as you play Trevor Belmont, the successor to the Belmont family. Probably the announcement more are familiar with is Silent Hill: Townfall. The game was announced years prior and recently received an update on the project with a release slated for this year.
Now it is confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall is set to ship later this September ahead of Halloween. You can watch the release date trailer in the video below:

The PlayStation Blog also elaborates on the new CRTV tool unique to Silent Hill: Townfall. “The trailer also gives us our first glimpse of a new creature, seen stalking Simon in the darkness of the Otherworld. With some enemies, combat is an important aspect of survival. In others, evasion is your only option. Using the CRTV and peek mechanic to assess the situation as you navigate, staying out of sight and moving carefully is paramount, as being seen can lead to a terrifying chase and dire consequences.”
