Riders Republic Pre-Launch Trial Week Carries Your Progress Over To The Full Release

Although the announcement for Riders Republic came out of nowhere from last September’s Ubisoft Forward, the game has still yet to arrive. After being pushed to late 2021, there is still an unfortunate set of events that took place. Originally, the game was scheduled to launch in early September. However, it was not long before Ubisoft decided to reschedule its launch.

It was then that Ubisoft announced a later release date towards the end of October the publisher alongside Ubisoft Annecy believed to be a better option. Despite that, there is not only bad news. It was in late August that Ubisoft held a brief open beta for the game for players to sample what might be in the full game.

Now carrying over to the week ahead of release, Ubisoft announces a new trail week for the game is going live for seven days before the launch of Riders Republic. You can watch the gameplay trailer in the video below:

Most interesting about this free demo is that players will have up to four hours of playtime of the full game before it releases. Additionally, the trial is also to carry over any of your progress to the base game if you decide to buy it. “Your progression will carry over to the final game. The only requirement is to use the same Ubisoft Connect account during the Trial Week and to play the final game,” the trial’s FAQ shares.

As for the approach Ubisoft is taking for Riders Republic is a sure surprise since initiatives like this are typically locked behind service perks a la EA Play. Even with Ubisoft+ being its own monthly subscription from the publisher, it brings even more shock that the service did not do the same for this announcement.
