Back in October 2015 343 released the Halo 5 API beta and the community has taken it seriously with great sites and app such as Halo Tracker and others. They also added a raw match events endpoint to the public API service, which will allow developers access to a breakdown of a match like never before. The update is LIVE right now
Here are some of the stuff they added to it:
- Gamertags of the players
- Weapon used to kill
- Match time
- Location of the map in coordinates
343 announced a contest along with this update it begins today and will end May 16th. The winner is picked based on originality, polish, and functionality. You can enter here
With a contest comes prizes and the top 3 sites that use this the best will win the following:
GRAND PRIZE
- 1:1 scale Needler replica by NECA signed by 343 Industries
