It’s a rare one-handed rapier that focuses on fast attacks and bleed damage over time. This is a melee weapon that deals piercing damage and offers fast hits and stack effects. Rapier of a Thousand Cuts is best to use if you’re running an agile or fencer build in Windrose.

You can’t craft this weapon at the workbench using the required materials, but find it as random loot. Use this weapon to deal damage, apply bleeding, and stack up to five times. This single-target weapon deals multiple wounds to the enemy, and each drain the life slowly while making them bleed.
How To Get Rapier of A Thousand Cuts
The weapon is not guaranteed anywhere, but it is a random loot drop from chests. You cannot craft it first, but you must find it once to unlock the blueprint. You can get this weapon from Traveller’s Camp on the starting island, regardless of your stats.
Rapier of A Thousand Cuts in Traveller’s Camp
Open your map to find the exact location of this camp, often marked by red cloth tied to a tree. Make your way to the Traveller’s Camp and open the chest near the tent to get glue. Travel north from here to find the red-cloth tree. Once reached, use the Shovel and dig northwest of the tree to get the buried chest. The buried chest and the nearby chest can drop the rapier.
Finding Rapier of a Thousand Cuts
The other place to search for the Rapier of A Thousand Cuts is Pirate Camps in the Blackbeard region. These camps include Blackbeard Pirate Camp, Cliffside Pirate Camp, Small Pirate Camps, and Camps near shipwrecks. You can get the Blackbeard Crew Chests, Buccaneers’ Chests, and Smugglers’ Chests from these camps and the Rapier of A Thousand Cuts inside them. All of these chests have a random drop chance 20% for the rapier to spawn.

You can also get this blade from shipwrecks, ancient ruins, jungle caves, destroyed forts, and skeleton loot piles. Decrepit Chests, Old Skeleton remains, and Hidden caches all share the same random loot pool. You can also obtain it while completing the Underground Network questline. When a bleeding enemy dies, the remaining bleed stacks can transfer to nearby enemies. So, killing one enemy with this weapon allows you to spread the damage in a fight.
