While players remained occupied for more than three years, the Apex Games is branching into two different directions. The base title remains to most prominent across all major platforms alongside PC, however, mobile versions on Android & iOS is experimenting on its own terms independently. So far, we witnessed this with the quality of life changes and unique game modes.
Most notably is the introduction of Fade: the universe’s own version of Tracer from Overwatch who uses the void to rewind back to a previous location just seconds before. The Legend is exclusive to the version on smart phones. But, the description for him was originally written as ‘mobile-first’ at the time.
Well, Apex Legends Mobile is getting more unique additions with a new roster addition welcoming Rhapsody in the new trailer for Season ‘Distortion’. You can watch the cinematic trailer in the footage below:
“Are you ready to make some noise? Rhapsody takes the stage in Apex Legends Mobile: Distortion,” the brief description reads for the video. From leakers that uncovered the Legend online, Rhapsody is also accompanied by a robotic canine with speakers for a head called DJ. In the trailer, we learn she can trace characters from footsteps and the ultimate deploys DJ which will project a one-sided wall.
As for other pans for Apex Legends, the latest Season ‘Saviors’ just finished its Awakening Collection Event. The limited-time event featured a new Lifeline on Olympus alongside featuring the return of beloved game mode Control. You can read the full report by heading here.
