In the last 24 hours there has been speculation that Roller Champions was facing a cancellation. The report said that the game would be canceled after Season 3 is complete. Those rumors were squashed immediately by Ubisoft via the Roller Champions Twitter account.

The Ubisoft Montreal team is working hard to improve the game and have exciting events planned ahead.

The original report of the game getting cancelled came from Jeff Grub who was on the XboxEra Podcast. Which would be somewhat surprising to have this game get canned already after a number of years of development time, but we have seen a Ubisoft title like Hyperscape get canceled and forgotten about pretty quick,

A challenge that this game has faced is growing the player base more and we will see if that will happen with their marketing and in game content in the future.

Have you played Roller Champions yet?
