While chatter has simmered for a good portion from well-known insider Emily Rogers, her credibility has not plateaued. In the past, she has been correct for several claims & reports that surfaced over the years. From projects like Let’s Go Pokémon to Game Makers Garage. More notably happened in early 2020 where she said that two games from the Wii U are still slated for the Nintendo Switch.

As for what those titles are, she told Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Xenoblade Chronicles were both on the playbook for Nintendo at the time. The first ended up launching that same year whilst the latter remaster for Xenoblade Chronicles later that spring. But, what of some other claimed projects that still has yet to release?

In a thread on Twitter, Rogers explains that the long-requested Metroid Prime Trilogy is still underway and is in fact in development. Atop of that, she does acknowledge the previous claims from Jeff Grubb on The Legend of Zelda as well, but does not give much certainty on the Game Cube remasters.

Previously, then-Game Informer editor Imran Khan told that Metroid Prime Trilogy is near completion. Enough so to release; giving way to speculation of an announcement at The Game Awards then. However, former developer Michael Wikan opposed certainty of claims for the bundled remaster due to the third game.

Entertainment what did happen at the latest Nintendo Direct is the newest mainline entry for The Legend of Zelda, ‘Tears of the Kingdom’. Grubb was correct about the announcement with the proper name and release date for next May. You can read the full report by heading here.

Do you still hope Metroid Prime Trilogy comes to Nintendo Switch?
