Dead Island 2’s story will be around 20 hours long

Dambuster Studios is prepared to release Dead Island 2 on April 21 and it looks like the game will have a ton of content to play with including 20 hours of story. Along your journey in the game there will be a co-op mode, collectibles, side missions and more.

This news comes from an interview with Wccftech where Dambuster Studios reveals the length of the game along with much other information.

Art Director, Adam Olsson stated “I think we do have guidance stating that if you take part in some secondary missions and other activities, the whole experience is around 20 hours.” when asked about the duration of the game.

A following question about side quests shared the additional information of collectibles and the fact you can replay with different characters “we have the co-op mode, collectibles, and you could always replay Dead Island 2 with a new character if you feel like it.”

The wait for Dead Island 2 will come to an end when it releases on April 21, 2023 for Xbox Series XlS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. The game was originally delayed to April 28, but they are releasing it a week earlier which is always a good treat.

If you are headed to PAX East 2023, you will be able to get hands on Dead Island 2 before it releases next month.
