Niantic’s next game, Monster Hunter Now is releasing on September 14 and pre-registration is available now for iOS and Android devices. This collaboration is between Capcom and Niantic which has been years in the making.

A total of 13 monsters will be available in the game at its worldwide launch: Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos and Diablos.

You will find these monsters in unique habitats such as forest areas, desert areas, or swamp areas. As hunters explore around their towns, they’ll discover the habitats and monsters specific to those areas.

The weapons coming at launch include Sword & Shield, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Light Bowgun and Bow.

Niantic and Capcom has set pre-registration global milestones and if they hit specific ones, hunters will be rewarded items.

500,000 pre-registrations – Potion x10 & Paintball x3

1,000,000 pre-registrations – Founder Medal & Wander Pebble x3

2,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Item Box Expansion +500

3,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Double Rewards Ticket x3

5,000,000 pre-registrations – 10k Zenny & Item Box Expansion +500

Those who install and login to Monster Hunter Now within 7 days of the official launch will be eligible. Pre-Registration benefits can be redeemed within the in-game shop. Hunters will have 60 days from the official launch to redeem these rewards.

Monster Hunter Now is designed for everyone to enjoy at their own pace, whether you are a long-time Monster Hunter player, someone who hasn’t played for a while, or even a newcomer to the series. You can also play when and where you want.
