Take-Two potentially teased the release window for GTA 6

Take-Two Interactive held their earnings call and they might have teased the release window for GTA 6 being in Fiscal Year 2025. This could most likely mean GTA 6 will release in 2024. They talked about how they have strong expectations for FY25

CEO Strauss Zelnick stated the following:

“We remain confident that we are positioning our business for a significant inflection point in fiscal 2025, which we believe will include new record levels of operating performance.”

What would provide a significant inflection point? Grand Theft Auto VI, developed by Rockstar Games who have sold over 185 million units of GTA V which is over ten years old. GTA 6 could release Holiday 2024 since Fiscal Year 2025 for Take-Two runs from April 2024 through March 2025.

Zelnick also shares they’re looking forward to this “exciting next chapter”.

“We would like to thank all of our stakeholders for their continued support, and we look forward to delivering on this exciting next chapter.”

The earnings call also revealed Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 55 million units. Rockstar Games has been busy this week announcing Red Dead Redemption will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
