Earlier this Summer it was shared that Bungie is working on another new game, but the studio themselves didn’t share what it was. It started with a report from The Game Post where they said the new Bungie IP is codename Gummy Bears and it would be a MOBA-like title that is full of colorful and “cute characters”.

Sources close to The Game Post suggest the new Bungie title would be powered by Unreal Engine and it’s likely the latest Unreal Engine 5.

“Multiple sources familiar with Project Gummy Bears’ development plans suggest that Bungie is using the Unreal Engine for this new title”

This would be the first time Bungie has used Unreal Engine after using the Tiger Engine for Destiny and Halo for years.

Along with Destiny and Gummy Bears, the studio is planning to release Marathon next year.

What do you think of Bungie working on yet another game?
