Naughty Dog released The Last of Us Part II in 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and it was very well received as one of the best titles of that year. Surprisingly, the game wasn’t made for the PlayStation 5 which would come out only months after the game debuted in June 2020.
The Last of Us Part II is likely coming to the PlayStation 5 thanks to a Naughty Dog developer’s LinkedIn profile where it says they worked on the title. First spotted by Insider Gaming, Lead Outsource Artist at Naughty Dog, Mark Pajarillo possibly spilled the beans early based on his job description at the company.
Part of the description read:
“Responsible for overseeing the production of all outsourced environment art assets, weapons, and interactive props for The Last of Us: Part One and The Last of Us 2: Remastered.”
Since this was spotted by Insider Gaming, the description was updated and left out “The Last of Us 2: Remastered” but the image shows it below:

Naughty Dog or Sony haven’t spoken about an enhanced version of The Last of Us Part II for PlayStation 5, but it would make sense to see it eventually.
