Twitch now allows streamers to simulcast on any service

The annual TwitchCon is being held in Las Vegas this weekend and of course, Twitch will have news and updates to provide for the platform. One of the major announcements made at the event to start things off was that Streamers can now simulcast on any live streaming service. This will give streamers around the world more freedom to create content on other platforms while still growing on twitch.

With this comes some limitations as Twitch says you should not provide links, or otherwise direct your community to leave Twitch for your simulcast on other platforms like Kick, YouTube, etc. You can not use third-party services that combine activity from other platforms or services on your Twitch stream during your simulcast such as merging the chat.

If you fail to follow any of the guidelines Twitch will send a warning before taking any action. These rules apply to all streamers from non-partners, affiliates, and official partners.
