Naughty Dog announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered last Friday revealing the enhanced 2020 game will come with additional modes on top of the main game. One of the new modes is a roguelike No Return Mode and according to a former employee at Naughty Dog, it will feature at least 12 levels.
This comes from @TheLastofUsNews on X (formerly known as Twitter) where they shared a screenshot that shows Colin Freeman, a former employee at Naughty Dog “tested and modified extraneous audio regions, and adjusted PAT tags on surfaces and object throughout 12 different No Return roguelike levels in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered”.
As you see a couple of times he mentions 12 different No Return roguelike levels for the new remaster. In this mode it will be possible to play with Tommy, Dina, Jesse, Lev, Mel, and even more unlockable characters.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered comes to PlayStation 5 on January 19, 2024.
