Dead By Daylights Newest Chapter Adds Chucky

In 2023 this year, some of Behaviour Interactive’s biggest crossover chapters took place. Earlier this summer, the game went ahead to introduce Nicolas Cage’s debut for the video game industry with his own survivor in the game. However, that was not the only announcement for Dead by Daylight coming out of Hollywood in 2023 either.

This fall, it was also confirmed that Alien is to be receiving its own chapter as well. Not only is the Xenomorph being added to the full game, but also that Ellen Ripley, the character portrayed by Sigorney Weaver, is to be a survivor as well. And to end things bloody, Don Mancini’s Chucky is also being added to Dead by Daylight.

Hidey-Ho Mode – When Chucky enters Hidey-Ho Mode, he becomes Undetectable and generates Map-wide footfalls, disorienting Survivors. Though Hidey-Ho mode can be entered at any time, it does have a cooldown.  

Scamper – While in Hidey-Ho Mode, Chucky can Scamper under a downed Pallet or through a Window, allowing him to quickly gain ground.  

Slice & Dice – While in Hidey-Ho Mode, Chucky can sprint and lunge forward to Slice & Dice Survivors. This attack can be held, but Chucky will be unable to do anything else during this time. If a Survivor tries to Vault a Window or Pallet while you’re charging a Slice & Dice attack, Chucky can quickly chain into a Scamper.  

“Viciously cruel with a cutting sense of humor, Chucky is a brutally effective killing machine. Using his diminutive frame to his advantage, he’ll pop up when Survivors least expect it, chasing them down and introducing them to his trusty weapons,” the description reads for the possessed, killing doll coming to Dead by Daylight.

“Arriving alongside Chucky are two brand-new outfits inspired by the Bride of Chucky film: Back From The Dead Chucky (Very Rare) and The Good Gal (Legendary). The first Outfit is Chucky in his iconic resurrected look all stitched up and ready to go. In a unique twist, the second Outfit is inspired by Tiffany Valentine, aka the Bride of Chucky, and voiced by the legendary Jennifer Tilly.”
