Insomniac Games has been dealing with a major situation where hacking group, Rhysida, shared a large amount of information for the studio’s future plans as far as games. Many of the documents leaked could be outdated as not everything planned comes to fruition. One of the leaks was for upcoming games and one of the titles in the works at Insomniac was a multiplayer Spider-Man game.

Bloombergs Jason Schreier shared that the multiplayer Spider-Man game was canceled a long time ago. At least that’s according to individuals close to the company.

“But many of the documents that have spread online thanks to the leak were old and may no longer be accurate, such as pitches for a multiplayer Spider-Man game that was actually canceled a long time ago, according to people familiar with the company’s plans.”

There were multiple games leaked with the timelines suggesting that Wolverine will be released in FY 2026, a new Venom game in FY 2025, and a new Ratchet & Clank title in FY 2029.
