Nintendo Switch continues to dominate with 139 million units sold

Nintendo released its financial results for Q3 of Fiscal Year 2024 and revealed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has now sold 60 million units on the Nintendo Switch. The results also show that the Switch continues to dominate in sales and is inching closer to the Nintendo DS in total sales.

The Nintendo Switch has now sold a total of 139.36 million units since it was released on March 3, 2017. The console is roughly 15 million units behind the DS which is currently at 154.02 million sold. 

It has been rumored the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch later this year priced at $400.00 USD and it may include a camera feature, backward compatibility, and the Final Fantasy VII Remake might be playable on this new console.
