Pokémon Trading Card Pocket Announced, Coming In 2024 For Mobile

When it comes to Pokémon, the world turn to what the next announcement will be. And taking place on the annual Pokémon Day, fans are eager to see what’s underway. One of the head-turning announcements from the Tuesday-hosted ‘Pokémon Presents’ is the new reveal for mobile experience Pokémon Trading Card Pocket.

While games like Pokémon Go immerses the world around us with the ongoing experience from Niantic, the new Pokémon Trading Card Pocket establishes the beloved tabletop, trading card game into a homogeneous experience for smart devices. The enticement of collecting, opening packs, and battling & trading with friends is now in your pocket.

“Collect digital cards and compete in quick battles with streamlined rules in this new way to enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game. New ‘immersive cards’ will allow you to leap into the world of card illustrations like never before,” the overview for reads for Pokémon Trading Card Pocket. Creatures, the creator of Pokémon Trading Card Game says it’s looking to further the immersion of the game through Pocket.

“Be on the lookout for new ‘immersive cards,’ which will make you feel as though you’ve leapt into the world of the card’s illustration.” Details remain light on when the app is to come out, but is slated for this year. Of course, both Google Play Store & App Store clients will be ready upon release.
