Yacht Club Games Presents Showcase Set For June 14th

With just summer on the horizon, it is that time of the year for annual video game showcases. Already, it initiated with PlayStation hosting one of its PlayStation State of Play presentations just this past week in May. Now entering June, the lineup is larger with Summer Game Fest prepared to go live later this Friday, June 7th.

Additionally, the livestreamed showcases are to continue into the month. On Sunday, Microsoft is to host its own Xbox Game Showcase. The presentation is also followed-up with a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct which will air immediately after. On top of that, Ubisoft Forward is also scheduled to go live that same week as well.

Now in addition to what was listed thus far, Yacht Club Games has new announcements coming later this month. In a new announcement, ‘Yacht Club Games Presents’ is to air on June 14th and is to feature new announcements from the indie game developer. “Hey club friends! We’re thrilled to announce a special edition of “Yacht Club Games Presents” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Shovel Knight.”

Yacht Club Games added: “The event will kick off a year-long celebration that promises a slew of new updates, announcements, merchandise, and dazzling surprises. The presentation will last approximately 20 minutes.” Of course, the biggest giveaway is that Shovel Knight will have a major spotlight from the presentation for its decade anniversary.

But there is still more fans are expecting from Yacht Club Games. In that, players and backers are still anticipating a release date for Mine the Hollower: a Game Boy Color-inspired dungeon crawler announced back in 2022. You can read the initial report by heading here.
